Samavesha 2016 has ended
The 2016 Samavesha Yoga Festival will be at the beautiful Mt. Madonna Center in Watsonville, CA. Join us from November 2 - 6 and return to your heart and study with renowned fellow teachers on the Anusara path.

Recognition of the sacred in the heart of all beings is the first of ASHY’s newly stated core values and the theme for this year’s festival. It speaks to the universality of the sacred and the power of attention to crystalize this truth within each of us. Samavesha means to dive into what one was never separated from in the first place - come to the California mountains to remember, reconnect, and realize the beauty of your own heart.

"Honoring the sacred presence in yourself and others"

Each of Bill Mahony's Upanishads classes are progressive, building on the last. They can be taken individually or as a series.

In this session we will learn and reflect on ways in which a full, comprehensive and responsible yogic life informed by Vedantic wisdom supports and encourages us in living a life of responsibility, honesty, authenticity, self-control, generosity, compassion, kindness and similar qualities in our relationships with others and with ourselves. A representative passage from the Upanishads here will be “The totality of your life can be your offering to the world.”
